It controls all other aspects such as Virtual Machines (child partitions), Hyper-V Networking, the creation of Hyper-V Virtual Network types and communication between Virtual Machines via Virtual Network Switches. Some Terms: VMMS.EXE VMMS.EXE is the main process at the heart of Hyper-V Server. There are a few terms which I have explained in the first part of this series. I recommend reading the first part of this series if you have not already. We will also learn networking tagged and untagged traffic, and best practices for Hyper-V Networking.
